Trip Offset — 1-tonne CO₂e unit

Offset your Ibiza trip in simple 1-tonne CO₂e units per traveler. Each purchase retires verified carbon credits. Results are published online for full transparency. (CO₂e = “carbon dioxide equivalent,” the standard unit used to express all GHGs.

How it works

• Fixed unit. 1 tCO₂e per traveler unless noted. Add more units in cart as needed.
• Verification. Credits retired in reputable public registries (e.g., VCS). Retired credits are permanently taken out of circulation.
• Why some activities need more. Energy and fuel use vary by activity. Large motor yachts can burn hundreds of litres per hour, so emissions scale with vessel size, speed, and hours underway.

Community schedule

Offsets are pooled. We retire credits weekly and publish certificates each Monday during office hours.

Compliance note

From 27 September 2026, EU consumer law will prohibit claims that a product or service is “carbon/climate neutral,” “reduced,” or “positive” when based on offsetting. Communicate offsets as a complement to your reductions, not as neutrality claims.

Disclaimer

Figures are estimates based on EU-established methodologies and are reviewed periodically. Purchases fund the retirement of verified carbon credits; offsets complement, not replace, direct emissions reductions and do not, by themselves, make an activity “carbon neutral.” Projects may be outside Ibiza. Actual trip impacts vary. The upcoming EU rules above apply from 2026.
