Collect community funds
Every purchase adds to a shared weekly pool. Most visitors start with 1 tonne and add more if their activity needs it (for example, larger yacht charters or full-trip bundles).
Select certified projects
We shortlist third-party certified projects (for example, re/afforestation, efficient energy, renewables) that meet quality criteria: additionality, permanence, leakage control, monitoring, and co-benefits aligned with global goals.
Buy and retire offsets; inform customers
Once a week we pool contributions, purchase verified carbon credits, and retire them. A public certificate is published online and announced on Offsetibiza social networks.
Grow local awareness
We use our channels (site, social, partnerships) to promote responsible travel, highlight funded projects, and share results. Ibiza benefits when visitors act together.
Keep the platform running
A small share of revenue keeps Offsetibiza.com and our server-side tools secure and operational, supports verification/admin tasks, and improves the customer experience. The majority of funds goes to purchasing and retiring verified credits.
